It’s just been announced that Patricia Field will be designing a collection for Myer. Going under the working title of “Destination Style New York”, this once off collection will be stocked at 65 Myer stores around Australia, making its debut on October 18th.This new collection is perhaps a little overexposure for Patricia, but the proof is in the pudding, so I’ll reserve judgment until we see the designs. If they’re amazing, then all is forgiven!

She also has her own website and online shopping portal, although I’m afraid I didn’t find much there to excite me. It looked like a bit of a cash in on the recent Sex and the City movie rather than pieces that would have any sort of longevity. But if you’d been lusting after pieces from her collaboration collections with Payless, Coke or Barbie in the States but weren’t able to find a source locally, then the site will be of more interest to you.
