Have women forgotten how to dress?

I was at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival last night and I was amazed at how many otherwise attractive women thought jeans and a sloppy tracksuit top would be an appropriate thing to wear to the theater. If you’d gone to all the trouble to attend at the Festival Theater, why treat it as a trip to Coles? I just don’t understand.

On the flip side, I spied one lady well into her 70’s looking very chic in an ankle length tweed skirt (fitted with a flounce at the bottom), tailored white shirt and little white mohair shawl. She looked amazing, very appropriate, and much more comfortable than all those women in jeans.
